Barmans was founded in 1977 and originally started out as an optic refurbishing company. Always looking forwards, we developed several new products for the licensed trade including the multi million selling Rota-Price system. During the eighties Barmans became one of the UK's largest wholesalers of bar and catering supplies and has been at the fore front of I.T. developments with one of the first online ordering systems for the licensed trade. In 2000 we launched our award winning gift and gadget website Drinkstuff.com bringing the latest innovations in drinking concepts to the home user. This year has seen Barmans celebrate it's 30th year in business with our widest ever range of products online, numbering over 4000. So it is with great pleasure that we bring you Barmans.co.uk to encompass our growing product ranges and we hope that you will soon be able to find everything you are looking for on this site.

Since 12th May 2006 we have been settled in our large warehouse (20,761 ft²) in Melbourn just south of Cambridge. With a small team of just over 20 dedicated staff, we are able to concentrate our efforts on constantly improving every aspect of Barmans Ltd. Our team includes our far travelling buyers, who meet suppliers from around the world to ensure all our products are fully tested to meet our high standards. When you choose which of our 10,000+ products you would like delivered to your door, you can either use our secure online payment system, or you can give our dedicated customer services team a call, they are more than happy to help you through the buying process over the phone on 0845 3133352 (Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-4pm). We have a range of payment and delivery options available to you, just choose the one that suits you best.

With more than 600,000 transactions from 150,000 customers, our wide range of more than 10,000 varied and exciting products has helped maintain our trend of an ever increasing annual turnover, with our predicted turnover for 2008/2009 being £4m.

Our motivation is to maintain our position as the number one retailer in our target market.

How do we achieve this?

• By providing an efficient dispatching service, with all orders to be dispatched to customers within 24 working hours (currently at 19.5 hours)
• By ensuring that we always have the highest possible stock levels to provide our customers with the products they want.
