Our History Timeline

• January 1977 - Barmans starts trading as "Barmans Supplies"
• February 1991 - Barmans becomes Barmans Limited (company number 2563265).
• February 1998 - Drinkstuff launched as barmans.co.uk
• February 1998 - Appointed datanet to host the drinkstuff site and our internal emails.
• Febuary 1999 – Joined Secure Hosting to take online secure payments.
• April 2000 - Appointed www.affiliatewindow.com to provide our Affiliate Program
• June 2000 - Paul Lochhead joined as General Manager
• July 2000 – Moved from Business Post to Parcelforce for Worldwide despatch.
• January 2003 - LT Net appointed to re-design the site and backend software
• April 2003 - New software launched (successfully).
• July 2004 - Signed agreement with E-Directory
• December 2004 - Re-located to Melbourn (5500 sq ft) from Harston (1800 sq ft).
• March 2005 - Took on 6000 sq ft warehouse for storage of imports.
• April 2005 - Drinkstuff receives its trademark - TM.
• April 2005 – Signed agreement with shop.com
• June 2005 – £2,500 give away with Nuts mag
• January 2006 - Completed purchase of 21000 sq ft warehouse in Melbourn
• Febuary 2006 – Joined Liquid HR for Barmans Ltd internal Contracts and Health and Safety
• March 2006 – Joined Kelkoo
• April 2006 – Barmans Ltd hit the 3 million turnover mark.
• November 2006 – Barmans Ltd make their new contemporary home furniture and accessories website, HomeTemptations.com live!
